SDCC Day 1: GrayHaven: The Next Wave

Just because we’re not at the San Diego Comic Con doesn’t mean we won’t have some news of our own to share. Over the past few weeks we’ve been teasing a lot of random images and talking about upcoming projects. Well this isn’t what we were teasing but it’s still part of an initiative we’re calling ‘Phase Two’ or ‘The Next Wave’ and we’ll have more details on just what that is later. For now, enjoy these images and let the speculation begin.

    This is looking awesome!

The art looks fantastic. Is there anyplace I can find out what these comics are about? The Mother and Son and wolf one look pretty enticing. Is the archives some sort of historical thing?

Thanks Teresio. Best place is to stay tuned to this website and our twitter of course (@gatheringcomic) More details about the release dates and what each book is about within the month.

We have a lot more to talk about soon.

I’m excited about these. I’m guessing The Archives reprints some of our most popular stories?

    • Andrew July 12, 2012 at 9:06 pm #

All new material in these book. No reprints!

        Nice. Even better!

Very interesting. Good job managing to show off a lot and give away very little. I suppose that’s the point of a true tease. My deductive reasoning tells me one is a five issue mini series, another is a one shot and the third is a four issue mini series. So straying from the strict anthology formats?

      Your deductive skills are formidable!

Exciting new books are a comin’.

These books are going to blow people away, I have no doubt. The two mini-series each have some great twists/ unique takes on the specific genre that I think people are going to really love. And The Archives has some great talent involved in it too. I’m looking forward to people getting to see the stories in that book quite a bit.

One of these books features my first writing work in years since I keep bumping myself from Gathering issues. Still, buy the book anyway.
