Thanks, Gary! Yep, those three panels will definitely be revisited down the line! I love what Chris did with the black and white work, here. We were going for something like “Days of Future Past” or “The Dark Knight Returns” and I think making it black and white gave it a bleaker feel (which was entirely Chris’ call). He has a great ability to take my scripts and surprise me with how he interprets them.
Thanks Gary! I had a tonne of fun with just those three panels pitting Robo in a grim and gritty future. Didn’t get Robo’s stache into the story like Ignacio had mentioned but maybe we will when we revisit this story later. Since both Marc and I had fun with this you can expect it.
Ok, those first three panels are some of the most awesome this series has seen. Will that be revisited? I am very, very curious and want more.
