FRAGMENTS is up to Chapter 6, almost near the half-way mark. Jay and I hope you’ve enjoyed the ride so far – we know we have! There have been some bumps, but we’ve learned a LOT.
So we’ve got some Portuguese (of the Brazilian flavor) in our comic strip this week. If you want to get the full story, just check the translation below:
Rafael: But I guess we all look the same to you anyway.
Rafael: And instead of the paradise that was promised to us, we’re now the last footprint of a majestic, long-forgotten species.
Rafael: Reduced to taking up all sorts of jobs your kind doesn’t want to do. We’re the lowlifes of the world.
Rafael: Which is good for you humans, because we become invisible, easily disposed of.
Rafael: A failed experiment, tossed aside like some old toy that you’ve lost interest in.
Rafael: I didn’t meant to scare you away, girl. I’m sorry.
Rafael: Ah. Gabriel would be very ashamed of me.
A huge thank you to my cousin, Tecia Nakayama, for assisting me with the Brazilian Portuguese translation for this week’s strip.
Happy Thanksgiving to those of you who celebrate it, and Jay and I look forward to presenting you with 7 more pages of story and art that will, hopefully, keep you hooked until the end!
This series just took a very intriguing and odd turn. I love that it can still surprise me every week.
